Join us for the Oh My Heart: Cindy’s Birthday Run, a special 5K held in loving memory of our wife, mom, and nan - Cindy Barney.
Cindy fought a valiant battle with cancer, and all who knew her loved her deeply. We miss her every single day. This race is our way of honoring her life, her strength, and the love she gave so freely.
We know Cindy’s wishes would be for the proceeds to benefit local families going through similiar trials. This year, proceeds will benefit Mario Washington, who is currently battling lymphoma cancer.
The Barney family’s hearts are with Mario and his family, and we are grateful for the opporuntitiy to come together as friends, family, and a community to run, to remember, and to make a difference!
5K Run Info
Participants should arrive at Panguitch High between 8-9:00 AM to pickup T-Shirts and load on buses. Buses will start at 9:30 AM to take 5K participants to the starting line, which is located at the Panguitch Shooting Range. The route is mostly downhill, from the Panguitch Shooting Range to Panguitch High, with a slight detour through the neighborhood and passing by Panguitch Elementary.
Youth Run Info
Participants should arrive at Panguitch High between 8:30-9:30 AM. Youth runnners will be led to the starting line starting at 9:45 AM, with the race starting at 10:00 AM. The route is essentially from Panguitch High to Panguitch Elementary and back, runners will loop through the bus pickup lane at Panguitch Elementary to start their run back. Parents are welcome to register and accompany their kids on this run.

First 10 finishers in each grouping receive a free shake to Iceburg

Top 3 in each grouping receive prizes donated by local businesses
